Luke 7:18-35 | After John baptizes Jesus in chapter 3 of Luke, John’s career as a desert prophet started to decline. By the time chapter 7 rolls around, Jesus is being invited to important social parties and John is rotting away in Jail. No wonder John sends a two of his own disciples to ask Jesus, “Are you the one who was to come, or should be expect someone else?”
